Embarking on a new blog

I walk through the doors, and as my eyes adjust to the light, I see boxes and racks of clothing. There are display stands and sales signs, and I realize that I'm in heaven. Well, really I'm in Stein Mart, but for that brief moment, the world makes sense and I feel a part of heaven on earth.
My arms were laiden with a load that enlarged as I passed more sales racks and gathered clothes to carry off to the dressing room. I awaited my turn and entered the room reserved for sampling the garments. My joy came to a sudden halt. The clothes I chose did not fit the way that I imagined they would.
As I left the dressing room feeling quite dejected, I ambled around the store, searching for something to give me hope and feel like a "fashionista." I knew where I needed to go. I walked straight to the shoe department! No matter how my waistline expands, my shoes will always remain true to my size. My shoes will never make my feet look fat or remind me that I need to go to the gym more often. Shoes are the best remedy for a pity party.
Shoes not only curb depression, but they also reveal a bit about our personalities and our moods. This blog will be dedicated to the research of how flip-flops, pumps, and stilettoes display information about the person wearing them. I have also designated a "Covet Corner" to the latest of my desired shoes. Happy shopping!
